Abstract
A total of 29 intellectual works were produced during this period, including books, monitoring and evaluation reports, research papers, policy briefs, workshop reports, internal policies and strategies, and communications materials. The NTTP-I published a book titled "Nepal Transition to Peace: A Decade of the Comprehensive Peace Accord (2006-2016)" in 2016. This edited book was made possible by the support of the American People through USAID and provides an in-depth analysis of Nepal's peace process. The book was published by the NTTP-I and is available for purchase. The NTTP-I also produced six monitoring and evaluation reports, which were used to assess the progress of various projects and programs. These reports provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of different interventions and helped inform future policy decisions. In addition to monitoring and evaluation reports, the NTTP-I published six research papers on various topics related to peace and conflict in Nepal. These papers explored issues such as conflict in Madhesh, local peacebuilding, and the implementation of the new constitution. The research papers were published as working papers by the NTTP-I and were made available to the public. The NTTP-I also conducted several workshops and conferences, including the International Peace Conference and Special Dialogues in November 2016 and the Accord workshop on peace and transition processes in Nepal in April 2015. These events brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss key issues related to peace and conflict in Nepal. The NTTP-I developed several internal policies and strategies, including a communication strategy, a three-year plan for archive management and sustainability, and a research strategy. These policies and strategies helped guide the institute's work and ensure that its activities were aligned with its mission and goals. The NTTP-I also produced several communications materials, including a brief account of the Nepal Transition to Peace Process. These materials helped raise awareness about the institute's work and promote its mission and goals. Overall, the intellectual works produced by the NTTP-I under the support of USAID Nepal between February 2015 and January 2018 provide valuable insights into the peace and conflict dynamics in Nepal. The research papers, monitoring and evaluation reports, and internal policies and strategies developed during this period will continue to inform policy decisions and guide the work of the NTTP-I and other organizations working on peace and conflict issues in Nepal.
