Abstract
The project is part of the USAID's Local Construction Program (LCP), which aims to improve Palestinians' access to basic infrastructure and services. The project's objective is to reconstruct approximately 3.75 kilometers of the Al Badhan – Al Nassariya Road-Segment A to facilitate the movement of trade and people between the Northern West Bank and the Jordan Valley, contributing to improved economic growth. The project involves the rehabilitation of the Al Badhan – Al Nassariya Road Seg A, including the reconstruction of a 3.75 kilometer two-lane road stretch along with associated access roads, reconstruction of Tubas Intersection, and installation of lighting poles. Additionally, the project includes the construction of concrete side ditches. The project is being implemented by Technical Group Company for General Contracting (TGC) under Contract No. AID-294-I-13-00007 and Task Order No. AID-294-TO-17-00002. The project's progress is being monitored through various indicators, including construction progress, safety status, and environmental compliance. The project's safety plan and measures are in place, with regular safety meetings and accident status reporting. The project's traffic control plan is also being implemented to ensure safe movement of people and vehicles during construction.
