Abstract
Task Order 01, also known as the Anata Main Entrance Road and Internal Roads project, is one of the projects under the INP-II program. The project aims to upgrade a total of 2.1 km of the Anata Main Entrance Road and 2.3 km of Internal Roads in the Governorate of Jerusalem. Construction works for the Anata Road project started on August 4, 2012, and in-progress activities include excavation, subgrade preparation, gravity retaining walls, pipe culverts, and basecourse layers for the Internal Roads. The project has achieved 100% completion for survey works and pre-construction submittals, with 85% completion for detour works and 90% completion for shop drawings. The Al Menya Landfill Road project, which is also part of Task Order 01, aims to upgrade 3.6 km of the road in Bethlehem Governorate. Construction works for this project started on August 16, 2012, and in-progress activities include excavation, subgrade preparation, basecourse works, and stone boulder installation. The project has achieved 100% completion for survey works and pre-construction submittals, with 50% completion for detour works and 80% completion for shop drawings. During the reporting period, no Notices of Unsafe Condition (NUC's) were issued, and zero accidents were reported. The project team held several coordination meetings with relevant authorities, including the USAID, Black & Veatch, and APCO/ArCon Construction and Services. Site visits were also conducted by the project team to follow up on work progress. The overall percentage of completion for the Anata project is 23.4%, while the Al Menya project has achieved 11.1% completion. The planned activities for the next month include submitting detailed time schedules and progress curves. The project team has also documented site memos and tracking dates for various activities, including excavation works, water house connections, and sewage network installation. These site memos provide a record of the activities and issues encountered during the reporting period. Overall, the Anata Main Entrance Road and Internal Roads project is making progress, with several activities completed and others in progress. However, some challenges and issues were encountered during the reporting period, which are being addressed by the project team.
