Abstract
The program aims to improve Palestinians' access to basic infrastructure and services, thereby helping the Palestinian economy. The objective of this Task Order is to rehabilitate three roads in the West Bank Governorates: Anabta Eastern Entrance Road in Tulkarem Governorate, Beit Sahur Ubeidiya Road in Bethlehem Governorate, and Nablus Asira Al Shamaliya Road in Nablus Governorate. The rehabilitation of these roads involves milling and overlay, widening certain segments, constructing concrete side ditches, supplying and installing crossing pipe culverts, and providing roadway furniture. The Task Order includes three projects: Project 1, Rehabilitation of Anabta East Entrance Road; Project 2, Rehabilitation of Beit Sahur-Ubeidiya Road; and Project 3, Rehabilitation of Nablus Asira Al Shamaliya Road. Project 1 involves milling and overlay of approximately 1.56 km of a two-lane road, widening certain segments, constructing a concrete side ditch, supplying and installing crossing pipe culverts, and supplying and installing roadway furniture. Project 2 involves milling and overlay of approximately 5.32 km of a two-lane road, constructing sidewalks, supplying and installing minor drainage solutions, and supplying and installing roadway furniture. Project 3 involves milling and overlay of approximately 3.63 km of a two-lane road, constructing sidewalks and shoulders, widening certain segments, supplying and installing minor drainage solutions, and supplying and installing roadway furniture. The Task Order has a ceiling amount of $4,165,660.00 and a notice to proceed date of November 18, 2016. The original period of performance for Project 1 is 150 calendar days, while the original period of performance for Project 2 and Project 3 is not specified. The contractor for the Task Order is Osaily Trading Contracting Co., and the Construction Management Contractor (CMC) is AECOM. The Ministry of Public Works and Housing is the owner of the projects.
