Abstract
The project aims to improve the transmission of water supply to villages southwest of the Jenin municipality, enhance water storability by constructing new reservoirs, and provide a reliable, safe, and affordable water supply to the project area. The project is part of the USAID Mission Infrastructure Needs Program II (INP II), which focuses on the rehabilitation and construction of roads, schools, water, and wastewater projects to help the Palestinian economy by improving Palestinians' access to basic infrastructure and services. The project was awarded to The Morganti Group, Inc. on September 22, 2015, with a contract value of USD 12,949,433.37. The project's completion date was initially set for February 16, 2017, but was later modified to March 22, 2017, due to variations in the scope of work. The project's contractual period of performance is 514 calendar days, with a start date of December 27, 2015. The project's scope of work includes the upgrade of the existing water supply system, construction of new reservoirs, and provision of a reliable, safe, and affordable water supply to the project area.
