Abstract
The project began in 2014 with a focus on designing a warehouse facility in Hetauda, Nepal. The project scope was revised in 2015, and the revised project is considered complete. The project team conducted a series of activities from September to October 2015, including the evaluation of bids submitted by five shortlisted firms. The evaluation team, comprising TT/BDA, conducted the evaluation and submitted an evaluation report to CRS on October 9, 2015. The report was reviewed by the USAID team, and a conference call was held on October 8, 2015, to discuss the bid submission evaluation report and the contract closeout. The project team completed all required deliverables for the Tendering Phase, with the exception of approving the construction contractor safety plan. However, since the contract award has not yet been made, this task cannot be performed. The project team believes that the Tendering sub-task and the entire revised project are complete, and they request USAID's approval to develop and submit the final invoice. The project schedule is given in a table, which shows that all tasks have been completed, with the exception of the final closeout with USAID, which is pending. The project budget has been estimated, and Tetra Tech estimates the following final costs: BDA (Tendering Stage and final invoice) $X, Tetra Tech (final invoice) $Y, and Total $Z. The project team has worked closely with CRS, USAID, and Tetra Tech to ensure the smooth and effective flow of the project. The BDA design team has been engaged in the project to ensure quality assurance at each stage of the design deliverables. The project team has also ensured that the construction drawings incorporate relevant local building codes, seismic codes, bylaws, and local construction practices. The project team has completed all required deliverables, and the revised project is considered complete. The project team requests USAID's approval to develop and submit the final invoice.
