Abstract
The program's management and reporting achievements are outlined in the Program's annual report. The report highlights the program's progress in implementing integrated NTD control activities in 18 countries, including Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Mali, Nepal, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Southern Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Viet Nam. The program provided direct implementation of integrated NTD control in these countries, with a focus on mass drug administration (MDA) activities. Seven country programs conducted MDA during the first half of Year 5, delivering a preliminary total of 30.5 million treatments and treating 16.2 million people. The program also supported disease-specific assessments in Bangladesh, Haiti, Nepal, and Southern Sudan to measure the impact of MDA on disease prevalence. The program worked closely with USAID, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and other partners to provide technical assistance to grantees and country counterparts. This assistance included support for work plan development, survey protocol, data analysis, and data analysis and reporting against program indicators. The program also implemented a number of important initiatives, including the development of an international training curriculum for NTD country program managers. The program began implementing a new version of the Funding Gap Analysis Tool (FGT) with improved capabilities and a new user interface. The program's grants administration activities included monitoring grant partners for compliance with OMB Circular A-133 audit requirements. The program also finalized a grant to support NTD activities in Tanzania and issued a fixed obligation grant (FOG) to a grantee in Nepal. The program's progress in implementing integrated NTD control activities is a significant achievement, and the program's efforts to provide technical assistance to grantees and country counterparts have been instrumental in supporting the program's success. The program's work in developing an international training curriculum and implementing a new version of the Funding Gap Analysis Tool will also have a positive impact on the program's future success. The program's management and reporting achievements are outlined in the Program's annual report, which highlights the program's progress in implementing integrated NTD control activities in 18 countries. The report also provides an overview of the program's grants administration activities, including monitoring grant partners for compliance with OMB Circular A-133 audit requirements. The program's management and reporting achievements are outlined in the Program's annual report, which highlights the program's progress in implementing integrated NTD control activities in 18 countries.
