Abstract
A total of 13 course deliveries took place between April and June 2016, with approximately 250 participants attending. The courses included New Employee Orientation (NEO), Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Orientation, and Supervisor Certification Course (SCC). The overall average score for course objectives across all NEO deliveries was above 4.43 on a 5-point scale, indicating a high level of satisfaction among participants. The average score for course objectives across both C3 Orientations was 4.11 out of 5. The respondents from each SCC delivery indicated an improvement in their ability to perform each of the 12 SCC course objectives as a result of taking this training. Facilitator ratings were also high, with the overall average score for facilitators across all NEO deliveries being 4.77. The SCC facilitators received ratings above 4.50 in every evaluation category across all three deliveries. Session ratings and feedback indicated that at least 80% of all presentations delivered at each of the NEO orientations were rated at or above 4 on a 5-point scale. Participants appreciated the opportunity to get to know their colleagues, as well as the level of organization, high-quality facilitation, and Agency-commitment demonstrated in each of the trainings. Suggestions for improvement included suggestions on how to improve the content, length, and/or presentation style of specific sessions or parts of the trainings. EnCompass successfully managed the administration, staffing, logistics, and curriculum design for the contract from April through June 2016. The company successfully completed the design of two eLearning modules for the Working Across Cultures (WAC) and Managing Workforce Relations (MWR) courses. EnCompass also successfully managed and completed the design of the semi-blended Supervisory Certification Course (SCC). EnCompass continued to work on the design of two other eLearning modules for the Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) for Supervisors and the Supervisor Refresher Certification Course. The company successfully submitted all necessary post-course and monthly reports per the requirements of the contract. EnCompass also successfully planned coverage for all NEO, C3, and SCC deliveries scheduled for the first year of the contract.
