Abstract
The courses included New Employee Orientation (NEO), Supervisor Certification Course (SCC), and Manager Certification Course (MCC). The team successfully managed administration, staffing, course logistics, and curriculum design for this contract, as well as registration and Administrative Management Services (AMS) communication for the NEO deliveries. EnCompass received and signed modification #11 to the Training and Facilitation Services contract, extending the period of performance through September 2019. The team also received and signed modification #12, increasing the obligation amount by $700,000 and raising the total obligation amount to $7,160,220.20. The Instructional Area 1 team completed 7 successful NEO deliveries for 287 participants. The team received approval and acceptance of the Career Candidate Corps (C3) Handbook turn-key document and finalized the C3 macro redesign. The Instructional Area 3 team completed 1 successful SCC delivery for 13 participants and prepared materials and logistics for upcoming SCC deliveries. The Instructional Area 4 team continued collaboration with USAID/South Africa to prepare for and conduct the final HR Basics pilot delivery. The team confirmed prioritization of sessions with Sherri Fennell (HCTM) to revise for rescheduled South Africa pilot and initiated resulting updates. The team also confirmed facilitator logistics for the first regular delivery of HR Basics course at WLC in Arlington, VA. The team conducted course evaluations, including Level 1 and 2 evaluations. The NEO course received an overall average score of 4.28 for fulfillment of course objectives across 7 deliveries. The SCC course received an overall average score of 4.85 at the one delivery this quarter. Participants praised the courses, citing interactive presentations, knowledgeable and enthusiastic facilitators, and comprehensive training. EnCompass submitted proposals, including a cost extension proposal extending the project through September 2020, a formal cost proposal for work developing an 8-hour e-learning refresher training for Office of Civil Rights and Diversity (OCRD) for EEO Counselors, and a cost proposal reflecting revisions to the MCC program. The team also submitted a cost proposal for Level 1 & 2 Kirkpatrick evaluations for upcoming HR Basics course deliveries.
