Abstract
A total of 10 course deliveries took place, with 219 participants attending. The courses included New Employee Orientation (NEO), Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Orientation, and Supervisor Certification Course (SCC). Course development and achievements were notable, with EnCompass successfully managing the administration, staffing, logistics, proposal development, and curriculum design for the contract. The company continued to work on designing eLearning modules for the Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) for Supervisors and the Federally-Required Supervisor Training, as well as the Learning Bursts for the SCC under Instructional Area 3. EnCompass also worked on revising the SCC courseware and held a meeting on December 13, 2016, to update the SCC facilitators on the new content. Evaluation results showed high scores for course objectives, facilitator ratings, and session ratings/feedback. The overall average score for course objectives across all NEO deliveries was above 4.34 on a 5-point scale, while the overall average score for facilitators across all NEO deliveries was 4.80 out of 5. At least 89 percent of all presentations delivered at each of the NEO orientations were rated at or above 4 on a 5-point scale across the clarity of content and quality of presenter categories. Open-ended feedback from participants praised the content, breadth, and depth of the information presented, as well as the facilitators' knowledge of the subject matter and interpersonal skills. Participants suggested improvements on how to improve the content, length, and logistics of the various training deliveries. EnCompass successfully submitted all necessary post-course and monthly reports per the requirements of the contract. The company continued to plan coverage for all NEO, C3, and SCC deliveries scheduled for Option Year 1 and 2. EnCompass also successfully arranged all logistics for seven NEOs, one C3 FSO Orientation, and two SCC deliveries. The company submitted a proposal on December 14, 2017, to design and facilitate a one-day, team-building retreat for the HCTM/CPD team. EnCompass continued to work on the design of eLearning modules for the ELR for Supervisors and the Federally-Required Supervisor Training, as well as the design of the SCC Learning Burst. The company's efforts and achievements during this quarter demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality training and facilitation services to USAID.
