Abstract
The courses were part of the USAID Training and Facilitation Services contract, implemented by EnCompass LLC. The team successfully managed the administration, staffing, course logistics, and curriculum design for the contract, as well as registration and Administrative Management Services (AMS) communication for the New Employee Orientation (NEO) deliveries. The team achieved significant milestones in various areas, including Instructional Area 1, where they completed seven NEO deliveries for a total of 636 participants. They also worked with the Front Office Support Center (FSC) to design two front office sessions and redesign Bureau panels, which will be incorporated into the class 29 schedule. In Instructional Area 3, the team completed the Supervisor Certification Course (SCC) deliveries, submitted and received approval on the Virtual SCC curriculum micro and evaluation designs, and reinitiated the SCC coaching program. In Instructional Area 4, the team achieved several milestones, including submitting the macro and design for the Active Shooter E-Learning course and receiving approval from the client. They also completed the Cultivating the Leader Within Course (CLW) coaching program, with 22 CLW alumni completing the program between January and March 2022. Additionally, they met with the DCHCO to plan for the two team building sessions, submitted and received approval for the macro for both sessions, and drafted the micro design for the first session. The team also made significant progress in the HCTM Core Courses area, completing two Webex ToTs for course facilitators and producers, and converting several courses from Adobe Connect to Webex. They also worked on the Activity Design and Implementation (ADI) course, completing the February 27-March 3, 2022 delivery for a total of 14 participants. Furthermore, they completed the initial review of the Applied Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (APM&E) courseware, determined gaps in design and LOE for cost proposal submission, and began courseware revisions and conversion to Webex based on client approval. The team submitted 7 cost proposals between January and March 2022, including proposals for the Women's Leadership Summit Design, Preparations, and Delivery, the Active Shooter E-Learning course, and the Virtual Applied Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (APME) Design Completion. Despite the challenges faced by the team, particularly in relation to project planning and course deliveries of the HCTM core courses, they worked diligently to transition several courses from Adobe Connect to Webex and familiarize the training teams with the Webex platform. The team also worked with USAID SMEs to ensure HCTM core courseware adhered to delivery standards, engaged several new HCTM core course consultants, and mastered the logistics of a demanding delivery schedule. The team received positive feedback from participants, with illustrative feedback provided in Exhibit 3, Level 1 and 2 evaluation highlights, January-March 2022. The feedback highlights the commitment and ability of moderators, facilitators, and producers to make participants feel valuable, welcome, and ready to go, as well as the effectiveness of the facilitators and music in setting a great tone conducive for bonding and learning. The team has planned several virtual courses, team building sessions, and conferences for delivery in the upcoming quarter (April-June 2022), including bi-monthly NEOs, 3 ADI deliveries, 1 APM&E delivery, 7 Assistance 201 deliveries, 4 BRMT deliveries, 2 C3 deliveries, 2 HR Essentials deliveries, 6 IPC deliveries, 3 MCC Phase 2 deliveries, 2 MCC Phase 3 deliveries, 3 SCC deliveries, 2 USAID 202 deliveries, 3 USAID 203 deliveries, 2 DCHCO Team Building Sessions, and 1 Women's Leadership Summit.
