Abstract
The courses were part of the USAID Training and Facilitation Services contract, which aimed to provide training and facilitation services to USAID staff and partners. The courses were categorized into several areas, including Instructional Area 1, Instructional Area 2, Instructional Area 3, Instructional Area 4, HCTM Core Courses, and Proposals. Instructional Area 1 included courses such as Virtual New Entrant Orientation (NEO) and Virtual Career Candidate Corps Orientation (C3), which were delivered to a total of 767 participants. Instructional Area 2 had no activities in this quarter. Instructional Area 3 included courses such as Supervisor Certification Course (SCC), Virtual Manager Certification Course (MCC), Active Shooter E-Learning, CPD Team Building Event, DCHCO Centers Team Building Workshop, El Salvador Mission Senior Leadership Retreat, HCTM/OPS Team Building Workshop, Human Resources Essentials Course (HRE), Merit-Based Compensation (MBC) eLearning, Security E-Learning Refresher Course (SEC) and Controlled Unclassified Information E-Learning Course (CUI), and USAID Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS). These courses were delivered to a total of 1,046 participants. HCTM Core Courses included Acquisition and Assistance (A&A) Seminar for Executives, Activity Design and Implementation (ADI), Applied Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (APM&E), Assistance 201, Budget and Resource Management Training (BRMT), and Introduction to the Program Cycle (IPC). These courses were delivered to a total of 1,046 participants. The team also submitted five cost proposals between July and September 2022, including Virtual 4-Day SCC e-Learnings, NEO USAID 101 Design, El Salvador Mission Senior Leadership Retreat, CPD Team Building December 2022, and HCTM/OPS Team Building Workshop. The primary challenge faced this quarter stemmed from uncertainty around whether the T&F contract would be extended beyond the original September 30, 2022 end date. However, with guidance from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the team was able to plan for continuity in services and ensure that there were no delays in Q1 deliveries when the modification of the contract was ultimately received. The upcoming quarter (October–December 2022) will see the delivery of several virtual courses and team building sessions, including bi-monthly NEOs, one A&A Seminar for Executives, three ADI deliveries, three APM&E deliveries, three Assistance 201 deliveries, three BRMT deliveries, one C3 delivery, six IPC deliveries, one SCC 4-day pilot delivery, one USAID 202 delivery, one USAID 203 delivery, and one CUI delivery.
