Abstract
The activity is implemented by RTI International, with a prime implementing partner, and involves various subcontractors and grantees. The activity focuses on four corridors: Amani-Nilo, Kigosi-Moyowosi- Chato, and Kwakuchinja. The Amani-Nilo Corridor connects Amani and Nilo Nature Forests in Muheza and Tanga Region. The Kigosi-Moyowosi-Chato Corridor connects Kigosi Moyowosi Complex and Chato National Park in Biharamulo and Kakonko Districts, Kagera and Kigoma Regions. The Kwakuchinja Wildlife Corridor connects Tarangire-Manyara Ecosystems in Babati and Monduli Districts, Manyara and Arusha Regions. The activity aims to improve the management of natural resources and promote sustainable livelihoods for local communities. It focuses on institutional capacity building, private sector engagement, and policy and regulatory frameworks.
