Abstract
The purpose of the trip was to facilitate training expenditures, including hotel payments and agrodealer refunds. The trip was undertaken by Faith Awuor, who traveled to Uganda to conduct the Busia Agrodealer trainings. The activities conducted during the trip included attending the opening of the training at Rand Hotel on May 23, 2012, where 15 participants (9 males and 6 females) were present. Faith Awuor also ran errands to facilitate payments and refunds to agrodealers. On May 24, 2012, she prepared payment schedules for agrodealers and trainers, and accompanied agrodealers to Seba Foods Ltd for warehouse management training. The closing of the training was attended on May 25, 2012, and payments were made to the hotel and refunds to agrodealers. The trip concluded with Faith Awuor's return to Kenya on May 26, 2012. The training was deemed successful, with engaging trainers who interacted well with the agrodealers. The agrodealers were enthusiastic to learn and share their experiences with others, and the networking and market linkages were a major benefit to the agrodealers. The opportunity to interact with one another and learn from each other's challenges and successes was particularly valued by the agrodealers. The participants' lists are attached to the report, providing a record of the key contacts made during the trip. These contacts include the agrodealers and trainers who participated in the training, as well as other stakeholders who were involved in the project. The report provides a detailed account of the activities conducted during the trip and the outcomes of the training.
