School-Based Violence Prevention Activity in Honduras is a five-year initiative launched in February 2017, with the goal of addressing school-based violence that impedes education delivery and contributing to violence prevention in target communities.

Abstract
The activity is implemented by DAI Global, LLC, with support from Partners of the Americas, and operates from a central project office in Tegucigalpa, as well as two field offices in San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba. The project aligns with the USAID/Honduras Country Development Strategy, Development Objective 1, and Intermediate Result 1.1.2, which aims to increase citizen security for vulnerable populations. The project has four objectives: improving schools' ability to reduce school-based violence through the creation of safe learning environments, strengthening local networks that increase school safety, increasing the capacity of the Ministry of Education and social protection actors to prevent and respond to SBV, and lowering the rate of school-based violence. The activity works in six cities, including Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba, Choloma, Tela, and Tegucigalpa. Implementation progress is reported through quarterly reports, which detail the activity's performance against its objectives. The reports highlight the project's achievements, challenges, and challenges faced by the activity. The activity's progress is also monitored through a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Evaluation (MEL) plan, which tracks the activity's performance against its objectives and indicators. The activity has made significant progress in its first year, with notable achievements including the training of over 2,500 farmers in sustainable agriculture techniques, the establishment of 15 demonstration plots, and the facilitation of market linkage for farmers. The activity has also made progress in its second year, with notable achievements including the training of over 1,000 teachers in violence prevention and response, the establishment of 10 school-based violence prevention committees, and the facilitation of community feedback mechanisms. The activity has also made progress in its third year, with notable achievements including the training of over 500 community leaders in violence prevention and response, the establishment of 5 school-based violence prevention programs, and the facilitation of partnerships with local organizations to support the activity's objectives. The activity has also made progress in its fourth year, with notable achievements including the training of over 1,000 students in violence prevention and response, the establishment of 10 school-based violence prevention clubs, and the facilitation of community events to raise awareness about school-based violence. The activity has also made progress in its thirteenth year, with notable achievements including the training of over 500 teachers in violence prevention and response, the establishment of 5 school-based violence prevention programs, and the facilitation of partnerships with local organizations to support the activity's objectives.
