Abstract
The project works with the Kenya National Ministry of Health and four focus county governments to deliver quality, integrated services in family planning, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, nutrition, and health system strengthening. The project's primary goal is to improve the health outcomes of Kenyans, particularly in the areas of family planning, reproductive health, maternal and newborn health, child health, and nutrition. To achieve this goal, Afya Halisi focuses on strengthening the health system, improving the quality of care, and increasing access to health services. The project also aims to promote healthy behaviors and practices among the target population. Afya Halisi has made significant progress in the first quarter of FY 2021. The project has established a strong partnership with the Kenya National Ministry of Health and the four focus county governments, which has enabled the project to deliver quality services to the target population. The project has also made significant progress in strengthening the health system, improving the quality of care, and increasing access to health services. One of the key achievements of Afya Halisi in the first quarter of FY 2021 is the establishment of a robust monitoring and evaluation system.
