Abstract
The courses included New Employee Orientation (NEO), Supervisor Certification Course (SCC), HR Essentials, Interagency, and Career Candidates Corps (C3). The team successfully managed administration, staffing, course logistics, and curriculum design for this contract, as well as registration and Administrative Management Services (AMS) communication for the NEO deliveries. EnCompass received two contract modifications during the quarter. Modification #13, received on September 26, 2019, replaced Michelle DeFayette with Caroline Zwicker as the Project Manager for this contract, incrementally funded the award in the amount of $86,000, and extended the status of the New Employee Orientation through the duration of the award. Modification #14, received on September 30, 2019, extended the period of performance through September 2020, increased the obligation amount by $500,000, and increased the ceiling amount by $1,241,897.46. The team completed several key achievements during the quarter. In Instructional Area 1, they completed 7 successful NEO deliveries for 476 participants and submitted the final version of the C3 macro design in July 2019. In Instructional Area 3, they completed 4 successful SCC deliveries for 56 participants, prepared materials and logistics for upcoming SCC deliveries, and continued to implement the post-SCC coaching program. In Instructional Area 4, they conducted two HR Essentials deliveries, confirmed the course name change with USAID point of contact Sherri Fennell, and updated the Learning Needs Assessment (LNA) prior to the WLC delivery. The team also conducted course evaluations during the quarter. The evaluation summaries and highlights from this quarter's course evaluations showed high levels of satisfaction among participants. The overall average score for NEO deliveries was 4.54 for fulfillment of course objectives and 4.78 for facilitator ratings. The overall average score for SCC deliveries was 4.55 for facilitator ratings. The overall average score for HR Essentials deliveries was 4.67 for facilitator ratings. The overall average score for Interagency deliveries was 4.83 for facilitator ratings. The team received positive feedback from participants, with many praising the courses as informative, worthwhile, and engaging. Participants also appreciated the facilitators' ability to answer questions and keep time. The team's efforts to improve course delivery and participant satisfaction are evident in the high levels of satisfaction reported by participants.
