Grant is provided under the PVO Humanitarian/Development Initiatives project (1800032) to Feed the Children - Larry Jones International Ministries, Inc., to improve living conditions and care for approximately 1,195 people in five Romanian institutions for the disabled.

Abstract
Feed the Children will: (1) conduct a needs assessment and impact study; (2) provide medical supplies/equipment, as well as food and clothing; (3) help rehabilitate the physical facilities; (4) conduct 10 seminars on AIDS for medical personnel; and (5) through the Medical Social Worker facilitate the formation of local NGO"s (e.g., parent support groups) to assume long-term responsibility for the institutions.
