Grant is provided under the Private Sector Humanitarian Initiatives Project in Eastern Europe to American ORT Federation to provide vocational training to former political prisoners in Albania and their families.

Abstract
ORT will: (1) design a comprehensive program of specialized training; (2) establish a training center; (3) train/retrain local teachers and other staff in the field of vocational education; (4) prepare teaching materials, manuals, and syllabi; (5) provide courses in subject clusters such as agro- and automechanics, electrical machinery and appliances, and management of light industry; and (6) facilitate job placement of graduates.
