Grant is provided under the Community Outreach and Leadership Development Project (6740301) in South Africa to the Leeudoringstad Advice and Development Center to (1) provide voter education to formerly disenfranchised communities of Leeudoringstad, in Western Transvaal, an extremely conservative area in which the polarities between black and white are starkly drawn, and (2) strengthen LADC so that it can provide paralegal and other advice to the predominantly black population of rural Leeudoringstad.
