Abstract

Grant is provided under the Community Outreach and Leadership Development Project (6740301) in South Africa to the Hewu Advice Center for a voter education program in 44 villages in Ciskei region, to include training of trainers, voter education workshops in the communities, and assisting potential voters to apply for identity documents, in preparation for the country"s first nonracial national elections in April 1994.
