Abstract

Grant is provided under the Community Outreach and Leadership Development Project (6740301) in South Africa to the Community Law Center in Durban to provide voter education to 144,000 residents of rural and peri-urban areas of Natal, KwaZulu, and Transkei and to train rural residents of Natal and KwaZulu regions to monitor/observe the country"s first nonracial national election, in April 1994.
