Abstract
The projects are being implemented by Trigon Associates, LLC, under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). The JSEP is a comprehensive project that involves the expansion and renovation of 144 schools across Jordan. The project is divided into four phases, with each phase focusing on a specific set of schools. Phase I has been completed, with all schools in the phase having been handed over to the MOE. Phase II is also nearing completion, with utilities connections still pending for some schools. Phase III is currently underway, with utilities remaining a major challenge for some schools. Phase IV is the most delayed, with all KGs and sport facilities behind schedule. The SKEP is a separate project that focuses on the construction of new schools and the renovation of existing ones. The project is also divided into two phases, with Phase I nearing completion and Phase II currently underway. Utilities connections remain a challenge for some schools in both phases. The Trigon team has been actively engaged in following up with the MPWH, MOE, and supervising firms to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget. The team has also been working to resolve issues related to utilities connections, which have been a major challenge for some schools. The JSEP and SKEP projects are expected to have a significant impact on the educational infrastructure in Jordan, providing modern and well-equipped schools for students across the country. The projects are being implemented in accordance with international standards and best practices, ensuring that the schools meet the needs of students and teachers. The Trigon team has been working closely with the MPWH and MOE to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget. The team has also been working to resolve issues related to utilities connections, which have been a major challenge for some schools. The projects are expected to be completed by the end of the contract period, which is September 15, 2021.
