Abstract
The CKM II team is led by EnCompass LLC, with the Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) and FHI 360 as subcontractors. The task order aims to provide high-quality information and knowledge products about activities implemented in support of the U.S. Government's Global Water Strategy. During the April-June 2023 quarter, the CKM II team supported one main campaign day, Menstrual Hygiene Day, by developing social media content, drafting an e-blast, and collaborating with other teams to produce a photo story. The team also supported the development of two stories and the publishing of eight additional stories from partners or USAID Missions. The most-viewed story this quarter was "Embracing the Flow: How USAID is improving menstrual health and hygiene in East Africa," which received 608 views. The CKM II team also supported the Water Team in posting 62 tweets to the @USAIDWater account, with an average engagement rate of 3.35 percent and an average of two link clicks per day. The team's Twitter followers grew by 113 followers to a total of 13,600 followers. The Global Waters mailing lists are growing, with nearly 3,000 new subscribers to the general mailing list and 10,000 subscribers to the event's mailing list. In terms of knowledge management activities, the CKM II team started copy-editing, formatting, and highlighting or disseminating High-Priority Country Plans. The team supported the publication of five plans, including Kenya, Rwanda, Indonesia, Zambia, and the Philippines. The team also supported the launch of the refreshed "The Water Source" internal knowledge management platform, hosted on MyUSAID and accessible to all USAID staff. The CKM II team uploaded eight assets to GlobalWaters.org, with 14,253 asset downloads from the site during the same time period. The most-downloaded asset was the U.S. Global Water Strategy (GWS), with nearly 1,000 downloads. The team also made major content updates to GlobalWaters.org, including updating the High-Priority Country Page, adding new partnership pages, and updating topical pages. The CKM II team sent two Knowledge Bites to USAID and partner contacts, providing tips on using Global Waters' new icon library and hosting successful webinars or learning events. The team also supported knowledge sharing events, including a webinar on the Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment Activity (WAVE).
