The project aims to enhance conditions that facilitate the involvement of young women by creating a safer and more supportive environment for them to participate in development activities. The project involves the construction of a new two-floor building for the Tulkarem YDRC with a total area of approximately 740 m2, including landscaping and improvements of the existing facility. Similarly, a new two-floor building is to be constructed for the Tubas YDRC with a total area of approximately 800 m2. Works include demolishing and reconstructing the existing Tubas YDRC cantina space, repairs and repainting at the existing facility, construction of a new facility entrance, and landscaping. The project is located in Tubas city and Tulkarem city, with the owner being Tubas YDRC and Tulkarem YDRC. The donor and client is USAID, with the Task Order COR being Rami Abu Ktaish. The construction contractor is Arab Brothers Company, with the Notice of Award being September 29, 2023, and the Notice to Proceed being December 28, 2023. The contract value is $5,869,276.60, with a BOQ line-item amount of $5,351,692.00 and a day works amount of $250,000.00. The project duration is 360 calendar days, with a completion date of December 21, 2024. As of the reporting period, the contract elapsed time is 26%, with the planned percentage of completion being 11.33%. The actual percentage of completion for the Tulkarem YDRC is 8.89%, while for the Tubas YDRC it is 5.8%. The project has a float of NA. The Task Order's key personnel include the Task Order Manager, Talal Atallah, the Quality Control Manager, Ghaleb Najajreh, the Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer, Mamoun Kharraz, and the Project Engineers, Raed Najjar and Osameh Azzeh.
