Abstract
The project's main objective was to consolidate the Outreach Centers network through multi-sectorial alliances to increase protective factors and promote a culture of peace. The project focused on three strategic objectives: consolidating the Outreach Centers network, increasing income generation opportunities for at-risk youth and former gang members, and strengthening FUNADEH's institutional capacities. The project made significant progress in consolidating the Outreach Centers network, with a 25% increase in the number of sustainable Outreach Centers. The project also achieved a 30% increase in the number of small business and self-employment ventures created by at-risk youth. Additionally, the project employed 150 at-risk youths, exceeding the target of 120. The project's income generation and employability opportunities increased for at-risk youth, with 80% of participants benefiting from income generation and employability programs. The project also provided tertiary prevention services to 50 former gang members, increasing their income generation opportunities. FUNADEH's institutional capacities were strengthened through standardization and consolidation of organizational processes. The project enhanced leadership of personnel, with a 20% increase in the accomplishment score of FUNADEH's human talent professional development plan. The project also improved adoption and implementation of ISO and PMO, with 80% of processes secured for yearly ISO certification. The project's monitoring and evaluation report showed a 25% increase in the number of beneficiaries served through Outreach Center programmatic activities. The project also conducted community and stakeholder-oriented campaigns to prevent violence, reaching 80% of the target population. The project established strategic alliances with local organizations, private sector, and other stakeholders, with 20 agreements signed to support the Outreach Center methodology. The project's next steps for April to June 2019 included consolidating the Outreach Centers network, increasing income generation opportunities, and strengthening FUNADEH's institutional capacities. The project also planned to conduct a midterm evaluation to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
