Abstract
The courses included Career Candidate Corps (C3), New Employee Orientation (NEO), and Supervisor Certification Course (SCC). The team successfully managed administration, staffing, course logistics, and curriculum design for this contract. The C3 course was delivered once, with 14 participants, and received positive feedback from the two final evaluation respondents. The NEO course was delivered six times, with 113 participants, and received an overall average score of 4.75 for facilitators and 4.43 for fulfillment of course objectives. The SCC course was delivered three times, with 56 participants, and received average ratings exceeding 3.9 in every evaluation category, with an average score of 4.5 across deliveries. The team also began piloting a 2-day delivery of the NEO on September 18 and 19 and completed one successful C3 delivery for 14 participants. Additionally, they finished interviews and survey data collection and began data analysis for the Level 3 evaluation of the SCC, which will be submitted next quarter. The team continued to scale up the SCC coaching program and worked with the Learning Management System team to transfer pre-work and course surveys back to EnCompass systems. The evaluation highlights from this quarter's course evaluations show that participants praised the training content, the breadth and depth of the information presented, the facilitators' knowledge of the subject matter, and the facilitators' interpersonal skills. Participants also suggested ways to improve course content, length, and logistics. The overall average score for fulfillment of course objectives was 4.43 across NEO deliveries and 4.52 across SCC deliveries. The facilitators received an overall average score of 4.75 across all NEO deliveries and 4.5 across SCC deliveries. The team received positive feedback from participants across all three courses, with comments such as "NEO was a great introduction into USAID" and "Great course. I feel each and every one should do this training and implement it." The team also received suggestions for improvement, such as "It would be great to have more time for networking and bonding among classmates." Overall, the team successfully delivered courses and received positive feedback from participants.
